Behan, Robert John Duncan

Robert (Bob) Behan was one of the youngest men in the Klagenfurt camp. He was born at  Bellingen, NSW on 22 Nov 1919. He was a Private in the 2/2 Battalion, service number NX2352. He was captured at Kalamata on 29 Apr 1941. His POW No. was 3790.

Post-war, Robert was a member of the NSW Police. He served in Nimbin and in Sydney. He married Lorna Thompson (1927-2000) at Petersham in 1946.

Robert married and they had six daughters. He died 25 Dec 1983 in Campbelltown, NSW (Ancestry). He was 64.
